What happens if the house burns down, will the fire brigade be stoned?,” Mr Isaacs said. However he said once people learn of the benefits of the building product, both for homeowners and hemp farmers, most people were positive and it was becoming more popular.Mr Isaacs said while its use was relatively new in Australia, it had a rock-solid history elsewhere and hemp buildings have been built over the past two or three centuries in Europe.”Where buildings have been turned to a petrified state just like wood does in the bush and they’re virtually a solid stone house, two or three hundred years after construction,” he said. The Read family hoped to move into their new fully accessible house by Christmas or at the very latest, next winter. Builder, James Isaacs from Belubula Hemp Homes at Canowindra said there were usually a few raised eyebrows when people learnt a house was being constructed of hemp.”It’s always the first thing that comes, ‘Do you smoke it? It’s just incredible,” Ms Read said. The work is not difficult but it is time consuming but many hands are needed to mix the hemp material with a binder of lime, sand and water. It is then ferried from the mixing machine, person to person in colourful, flexible buckets to the walls where it is poured into the formwork and tamped down to create walls 300mm thick. Bucket by bucket, a hempcrete house is being constructed by volunteer labour in a small New South Wales town to provide an accessible and clean-air environment for triplets with muscular dystrophy.Putting the hempcrete on the walls is a labour-intensive process and therefore could be very expensive, but the Read family of Canowindra in central-west New South Wales has been overwhelmed by help from friends, community members and complete strangers.”It’s pretty humbling and pretty exciting at the same time,” said Jemimah Read, mother of the triplets and with her husband Ben, owner of the project dubbed the ‘Miracle’ house.A labour of loveTen-year-old triplets, Anwen, Mahalah and Gideon Read all have meroisin deficient muscular dystrophy and have been in wheelchairs since they were two years old.But the family’s current house in Canowindra is not big enough or has the modifications to accommodate three increasingly large powered wheelchairs or give the triplets independence. The Reads decided they needed to build a fully accessible home on a block just outside town. With both parents as carers for their children, money has been an obstacle so the Reads have had to take a leap of faith and rely on community help to make the ‘Miracle’ house a reality. (Supplied: Jemimah Read/Facebook)
Hempcrete for a breathable houseThe Reads chose hempcrete because the triplets have reduced lung capacity and so need a clean and stable air environment.”The hempcrete is breathable so the moisture can actually go out through the walls and still keep things really nice and warm in winter and cool in summer,” Ms Read said. The house is being built by a local building company that for the past two to three years has specialised in hempcrete. Building the walls bucket by bucketMs Read said she hoped the enthusiasm on the building could be maintained because putting hempcrete on the 120 metres of walls was a “marathon” race that would take four to six weeks to complete. However she was buoyed by the response so far.”I just met two strangers this morning who came from Millthorpe [a town about an hour from Canowindra]. Volunteer labour in a modern barn-raisingNow that the house is at the stage of putting the hempcrete on 120 metres of walls there was a need for a large number of labourers, so the call went out for volunteers. The chairman of the Raising a Roof for the Reads support group, Mark Ward, said a week into the project and at least six volunteers, mostly from Canowindra but also further afield in NSW have come each day.”Once you ask them to come and help and tell them what you’re doing; I don’t think I’ve had a knockback,” Mr Ward said.”It’s a great feeling on the building site, everyone’s enjoying it, laugh a minute and very busy.”

Play pods filled with junk ignite schoolyard imaginations

It is all part of the school’s loose parts play program.”We really believe that children learn through play,” kindergarten teacher Sascha Colley said. “There’s a lot of research behind play as being something that is really important for children for their mental health and for learning in general.”

Photo:
Year five students Jade, Penny, Clare and Arlo create a kitchen in the playground at Ainslie Primary School. (ABC Radio Canberra: Penny Travers)
“When children play their whole brains light up and they’re thinking and they’re engaged; they’re not daydreaming out of a window and wishing they were somewhere else. Frying pans, old skis, rope and a boat are just some of the things you’ll find in the playground at Ainslie Primary School in Canberra. At the start of recess the “play pods” are opened and students choose what they want to play with. (ABC Radio Canberra: Penny Travers)
Older kids enjoy play tooWhile the kindergarten to year two classes at Ainslie Primary School are play-based, the play pods offer older students a creative opportunity that they might not necessarily get in the classroom. “If you have little ones that don’t speak English so well, or might have some sort of learning difficulty or social issues, when they’ve got lots of things to do and there’s a group of children working on something, they find it easier to join in when there’s objects that they can go and touch and become a part of.”

Photo:
Kindergarten student Alex makes a cubby house for Cookie Monster. “The playground has a real buzz about it; the playground is a happy place where the children are really excited to get out there.”And just before the bell rings, the kids all work together to pack up, clearing the playground in under four minutes. “Before the play pods, it was kind of a bit boring,” year five student Jade said.”You couldn’t create stuff, you only had stuff that was already made for you and you didn’t get to make houses and cubbies and things like that.”Fellow year five student Arlo agreed. (ABC Radio Canberra: Penny Travers)
Ms Colley said there had been fewer conflicts in the playground. Photo:
Students work together to pack up the loose parts quickly at the end of lunch so they have more time to play. “Big kids need to play too; it doesn’t stop when you’re eight, nine or 10 years old,” Ms Colley said. (ABC Radio Canberra: Penny Travers)
Younger students like year one’s Hanako find it just as fun. “I like playing with the new stuff; sometimes I make a shop or a house or sometimes I might make a house out of a tree.”Less conflict, more inclusivity in the schoolyard The play pods were installed last year and Ms Colley said they had made a big difference to the social behaviour of students in the schoolyard. “You can be really creative and build a lot of things; new things are coming into it all the time and you can make new things and keep on experimenting. “When there’s a really good balance between free play and engagement to structured lessons and learning the kids do really well.” “A lot less problems after the lunchtime period too — they’ve had a really happy time so they pack up and they come back into class and they’re ready to learn.”Students working togetherMs Colley said she had also seen an improvement in the students’ communication skills.”It requires them to work together; a lot of kids are working in big teams to create things and they’re negotiating and sorting out problems. From a distance the items might look like a pile of junk, but on closer inspection it is clear the students have transformed the bits and pieces into cubby houses, mud kitchens and castles. “We find it really increases inclusivity; everyone can play,” she said. Teacher Sascha Colley goes to The Green Shed regularly to source new loose parts, like this boat. “I like the big wooden planks and the plastic crates because me and my friends we make chairs out of them by putting the crates down and the planks on top.”

(ABC Radio Hobart: Carol Rääbus)
“In the evenings and in the mornings when the Sun is at a lower angle it has to go through a larger distance of the atmosphere.”That means a lot more of the blue light gets scattered out and we get a lot more of the pinks and reds on the rainbow spectrum.”

But while a sunset might be less intense in colour, a hazy day can still give you a good show in the sky.”The other thing you can get is if you have smoke very high in the atmosphere, once the Sun has set, that can lead to more of an afterglow to the sunset,” Ms McInerney said.”That nice afterglow can be quite beautiful.”

Photo:
In 2011 a volcano erupted in Chile and the ash gave Tasmania amazing afterglow sunsets. and as the light of the Sun passes through our atmosphere we get what’s called scattering of those light particles,” she said.”During the day, when the Sun is more vertical above us, we have less scattering. Photo:
It’s not aliens, just a lenticularis cloud lit underneath by the scattered rays of a setting sun. From hot pink sunrises to burning orange sunsets, Tasmanians have been witnessing a light show like no other lately — and it is all thanks to a little help from some rain. The colours in sunrises and sunsets are caused by the light from the Sun being scattered through the atmosphere. (ABC Open contributor Duncan Grant)
Meteorologist Rachel McInerney from the weather bureau (BoM) explains that as sunlight comes through at a lower angle through the atmosphere, the blue colour in the light spectrum gets weaker and weaker.”Light is made up of different wavelengths … (Flickr: longreach)
“Probably one of the main impacts in terms of the clarity and the brightness of a sunrise or sunset is actually the clearness or cleanness of the air.”Tasmania’s clean air makes the Sun feel harsher in summer than it really is and it also gives us brighter, more intense sunsets.”If there’s lots of particles in the atmosphere, like dust or haze, it will dull the colours,” Ms McInerney said. Photo:
When the Sun is low, less blue light gets through the atmosphere, leaving us with pink, red and orange colours. Photo:
Layers of different clouds give sunrises and sunsets more colours and texture. Photo:
A sky clear or particles leads to a brighter sunset or sunrise. we more regularly have a clearer atmosphere near the surface and that will lead to more bright sunrises and sunsets. (Facebook: Millie Alam)
In winter in Tasmania, bright sunsets and sunrises are slightly more common and that is because of the extra rain.”In the winter we see cold fronts move through more regularly than we would in summer,” Ms McInerney said.”With that we have more potential for rainfall to rain out any particles in the atmosphere …

Slowing down the hectic pace of modern life on Cittaslow agenda

Goolwa has a community garden where people can share knowledge and their skills. Many people might wonder if it is possible to slow the hectic pace of modern life, and international delegates are discussing that very issue at a conference in South Australia this week.”We make them work in the morning, tour in the afternoon and eat at night,” the coordinator of the Cittaslow International General Assembly, Lyn Clark, said.More than 100 delegates from about a dozen countries have converged on Goolwa at the mouth of the Murray, south of Adelaide, to share ideas that have worked for their regions.Ms Clark said the whole concept evolved from the slow food movement, and this was the first time the international gathering had been held in the southern hemisphere.Slow food was a concept born in Italy in the mid-1980s as fast food chain McDonald’s was expanding there.Ms Clark said concerted Italian push to savour food and share mealtimes with family and friends was an effort to counter the growth in fast food offerings.”It is developing that feeling of sitting down with your family and friends to enjoy the food, so it might be something actually cooked quite quickly, but it is the enjoyment and savouring of that food which is the slow process,” she said.”So often the demands of our life mean that we have to rush but you really can’t appreciate food in a rush.”Goolwa became the first Australian town certified as part of the Cittaslow movement a decade ago, and there are now others in Australia — Katoomba in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales and Yea in central Victoria. (Audience submitted: Nicholas Gaskell)
Slowing more than just mealtimesMs Clark said a group of Italian mayors first built on the slow food push by coming up with ways to extend the concept.”They were looking at not only the food aspect but things like environmental issues, infrastructure, tourism, heritage, education, programs for community groups — so it’s actually much larger than just the food aspect, although that does play a very important role,” she said. The Goolwa community, like other Cittaslow towns, looks at many aspects of life and how to slow the pace and boost enjoyment.”It’s the community, the council and the businesses all working together to identify what’s really unique about a particular town, making sure the strategy’s in place to preserve that thing that gives the identity to a region and then encouraging people to come, slow down and enjoy what we’re offering,” Ms Clark explained. (Supplied: Cittaslow Goolwa)
She said Goolwa had a calendar of events ranging from food, wine and music evenings on the local wharf overlooking the Murray, to an annual smoke-off, cooking hams and other meats. There was also a community garden where locals shared knowledge about home-grown produce, she said.Delegates are sharing what has worked in their cities and towns across the globe with the others taking part in this week’s assembly, an important focus being local character.Ms Clark said the slow food movement remained a pivotal aspect of easing the hectic pace of modern life, as the Cittaslow locations considered ways to build on key concepts.”What foods are grown only in that region, what methods of cooking are unique to that region, and do the farmers use sustainable methods,” she said. James Arthur – Can I Be Him

Oh, can I, can I be him?
Can I be him?
Now you’re all I want

Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories?
Can I be him
I swear that every word you sing, you wrote them for me
Will you be there, will you be there?
Like it was a private show, but I know you never saw me
I swear that every word you sing, you wrote them for me

Can I be him
‘Cause a light came on when I heard that song and I want you to sing it again
When the lights come on and I’m on my own
Oh, when you sing it again
You took me back in time to when I was unbroken
Won’t you sing it again?
Will you be there to sing it again

Can I be him?
Can I be him
Can I be the one

When the lights come on and I’m on my own
Like it was a private show, but I know you never saw me
Can I be him?

Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories
‘Cause a light came on when I heard that song and I want you to sing it again
I wanna dry those tears, kiss those lips
You walked into the room and now my heart has been stolen
Like it was a private show, but I know you never saw me
I swear that every word you sing, you wrote them for me
Can I be the one
Can I be him?
Can I be the one you talk about in all your stories

Oh, sing it again, yeah
And I knew it from the very first moment
When the lights come on and I’m on my own
Can I be the one
It’s all that I’ve been thinking about
If you were mine I’d never let anyone hurt you, no, no
I heard there was somone but I know he don’t deserve you
Oh, when you sing it again
Will you be there to sing it again?

Meek Mill – Left Hollywood

Out in Philly it’s dark, we was really so scarred
Why you think we spillin’ spade when we go to the club
Risking freedom for shoes
We go to war in fatigues like it’s bape
Knowin’ that all I’ma be spending money on jewels
Master with them P’s yeah boy I’m bout it bout it

We was breakin’ the rules, trappin’ to get some food
We was breakin’ the rules, trappin’ to get some food
We’re so confused, hope I don’t make the news, oh Lord
Man I was so fucked up I couldn’t believe myself
But actin’ silly so hard but we just wanted some love
Risking freedom for shoes
Came up from shit I’m like "how can you hate"
[Intro]
We’re so confused, hope I don’t make the news, oh Lord
We play with rugers, play with Glocks, we ain’t playin ball

Really hurt my heart, ripped my feelings apart
Brought me to my knees back when everybody doubted
Tryna be like niggas who were never there for us
Talkin’ before like, all this lil’ rap shit
They killed my daddy and it turned me to a man, dog
[Verse 3]
I used to cop my little reggie tryna feed myself
Knowin’ that I don’t need em I’m be spending money on jewels
Said I would win, said I would lose, shit
Jeweler like gettin’ food, they told us that this was cool
Knowin’ that I don’t need em, I’m spending money on jewels
[Verse 2]
I’m stressed out, niggas got drugs feel left out
Coppers scoopin’ niggas out their radar
When you have no voice
[Interlude]
I had to get out of Hollywood
I don’t feel safe, can’t sleep without it
[Chorus]
My life for your life
All my homies think I smoke, we just rollin’ it up
[Verse 1]
[Chorus]
Go to war like we got like four lives
I just wanted some steak and some food on my plate
Jeweler like gettin’ food, they told us that this was cool
We’re so confused, hope I don’t make the news, oh Lord
Can’t let my youngins see me fold, I’m too solid
Said I would win, they said I would lose, shit
Said I would win, they said I would lose, shit
I can’t lose faith, I just want shine like the stars in my wraith
If I stand on it, I’ma stand doing it
Ain’t nobody hear us, so we ain’t have no choice
All these young niggas killin’ like they ain’t got no souls
Caught my first case, it was me versus the state
So we play with heart, fuck it we gon’ play it raw
Mama workin’, daddy dead I just wanted a hug
This the only shit I knew I seen my man done it
My cousin had that work but I didn’t need no help
Look what they did to Lil Kodak and Gates’
I went from goin’ to school, to totin’ them tools, and makin’ a move
Little fish
Jobs told us beat it like an A&R
I went from goin’ to school, to totin’ them tools and makin’ a move
Get back to the trenches, they said they need me
Jeweler like gettin’ food, they told us that this was cool
Niggas puttin’ niggas in the graveyard
We ain’t have no guidance
’cause my heart so cold, we ain’t got no goals
It was all so sweet until Dashawn told
For real nigga
We was breakin’ the rules, trappin’ to get some food
[Chorus]
I went from goin’ to school, to totin’ them tools, and makin’ a move
Where I’m from if you turn eighteen, then that’s More Life

That’s why I be at the jeweler tryna freeze myself

Talkin’ Grand Marquis, before I cop my Rolls
Cut the lights, told my momma they ain’t stayin’ off

Put some bags on the scale, put some grams on it
So I went to chasin’ them birdies, I went south, fuck it
Risking freedom for shoes

Shit we tryna stay alive it’s a standoff
I’m just tryna be great, I survived with the snakes

Harry Styles – Sign Of The Times

We gotta get away from here
But you ain’t really good
We gotta get away from here
We got to, we got to
We got to get away
Will we ever learn?
It’s a sign of the times
We got to get away
It’s a sign of the times
Hope you’re wearing your best clothes
It’s just what we know
You can’t bribe the door on your way to the sky
We never learn, we been here before

The bullets?
Why are we always stuck and running from
We got to, we got to
Welcome to the final show
Just stop crying
Just stop your crying
[Outro]
Breaking through the atmosphere
The bullets
They told me that the end is near
[Verse 1]
We gotta get away from here
We got to, we got to
We got to get away
If we never learn, we been here before
Just stop your crying
It’s a sign of the times
The bullets

We never learn, we been here before
[Bridge]
The bullets
The bullets?
Baby it will be alright
We gotta get away from here
Before it’s all too much
The bullets

We got to get away
The bullets?
We can meet again somewhere
The bullets
We gotta get away
[Verse 2]
If we never learn, we been here before
We gotta get away from here
You look pretty good down here
It will be alright
Why are we always stuck and running from
Just stop your crying
The bullets?
We don’t talk enough
And things are pretty good from here
We never learn, we been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from

Somewhere far away from here
[Pre-Chorus]

We’ve been here before
We should open up
The bullets
Why are we always stuck and running from
Remember everything will be alright
It’s a sign of the times
Why are we always stuck and running from
Why are we always stuck and running from
Have the time of your life
[Chorus]

The bullets?
Stop your crying baby
Just stop your crying
[Pre-Chorus]
[Pre-Chorus]
The bullets?
[Chorus]
We gotta get away from here
If we never learn, we been here before
They told me that the end is near
Just stop your crying

Tom Rosenthal – P.A.S.T.A

[Post-Chorus]

Al dente in the soul

Beauty in the blandness
Love one day will come
Carbonara told me there was something holy
[Hook – x2]
[Verse – 2]
[Verse – 1]
I’ve been so lowly
I’ve been so lowly
Give me all the shapes that you make
P.A.S.T.A save my day
Eggs and the flour, no higher power
Pesto for the hole
I’ve been so lowly

Feed me carbs, baby
Oh words, cannot quite explain how I’ve loved you my entire life
P.A.S.T.A save my day
I’ve been so lowly
[Chorus]
I’ve be so worried
Simple as the sun

I have been so worried

Maren Morris – I Could Use A Love Song

To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes
You know the kind where you take a turn and you don’t know why
That takes me back, just like that
Seeing eye-to-eye, and heart-to-heart
A long gone drive
That’ll last a little longer
I could use a love song

I peeked behind the curtain
Just something that I can believe in
That for me so far just seems to go so wrong
Give me a sign or a rhyme or a reason
Usually a drink will do the trick
To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes
Used to work but now it don’t
That for me so far just seems to go so wrong
With a shared cigarette
Take the edge off quick, sitting in the dark
At a guy and a girl
I wish I didn’t know so much
Who make it work in a world
I could use a love song
I need something stronger
I could use a love song
Yeah I could use, I could use a love song
At a guy and a girl
When it comes on
But I haven’t lost all hope yet
Yeah I could use, I could use a love song
Yeah it’s hurting but it ain’t dead
When it comes on
Who make it work in a world
Feels like a trick that isn’t working
To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes

That for me so far just seems to go so wrong
But maybe I’m just getting old
At a guy and a girl
Yeah I could use
Yeah I could use, I could use a love song
Who make it work in a world
When it comes on
Now that magic rush

That takes me back, just like that
That takes me back, just like that
But it clears your mind, a surefire cure

Halsey – Now Or Never

Never pickup, never call me
Now I know I need you around with me
‘Round forever
But you could never tear it down for me
Need to know that you’re mine
Now, now, now
Said you don’t wanna keep you around
Down forever
Make your mind up
Said you don’t wanna keep you around
Gotta be right now, right now
Tryin’ to talk to a wall
Down forever
Never pick up, never call me
Down, down, down , down
We’ve been through it all
Down forever
Oh, yeah
Got a whole lot of love
Now, now, now
Been through the ups
Said you don’t wanna keep you around
Down, down, down , down
Don’t take no more time up
(Now, now, now)

Baby we’ve done enough talking

I need you to make your mind up
Baby I’ve been done, enough talking
I want you to hold me down, down
I want you to love me now, now, now
‘Round forever
Need to know that you’re mine
Now or never
Now or never
Now I gotta draw a line

Yeah the ups and the downs with me
I want you to love me now, now, now
Now wishin’ you were ’round with me
Draw the line up
I want you to hold me down, down
Now or never
Baby I’ve been done, enough talking
Know you always lie
You know we are running outta time
I want you to love me now, now, now

Baby you gotta decide something
But you don’t wanna spread it ’round with me…!
Never pick up, when you own me
Don’t take no more time up
Now, now, now
I’m turnin’ off the light right now
But you could never spit it out for me
I don’t wanna fight right now
Never pickup, when you own me
Now, now, now
Baby gon’ love me now, now, now
But nobody will be around with me
Gotta be right now, right now

Now or never
Let me know
Baby gon’ love me now, now, now
Draw the line up
I want you to hold me down, down
Baby gon’ love me now, now, now
Down, down, down , down
Baby we’ve done enough talking
Now or never
(Now or never…)
But you in a different town than me
Now I gotta draw a line
Hmm
‘Round forever
Now, now, now
I’m callin’ it a night
You know we are running outta time

BROCKHAMPTON – Face

See, I don’t want nobody but you-oo-oo-hoo-oo
Tell me what you’re waiting for
[Verse 4: Joba]
You make it warm in my bed
My bed is cold, and indented where you used to sleep
What you waiting for?
‘Cause I don’t trust nobody lately
Me llamo Roberto
[Verse 3: Ameer Vann]

Just wanna hold ya
Here you are, and now you’re gone
Melting, fading, under stars and the sun
No one Who do you call when there’s no one?
Get you all outta my head
See, I don’t want nobody but you
Tell me what you’re waiting for
Tell me what you’re waiting for, shit
Tell me what you’re waiting for
I spent the day by my lonesome
I just wanna hold ya
Butterflies in my head
I say this all out of respect
Tell me what you’re waiting for

I forgave what you did for me and did to me
Never would lie to you
Cause I know thousand men want ya
[Hook: Joba]
I just wanna love ya
I still feel alone
I just wanna be your main boy, your main, your main one
White lies hold the hidden truth
Cause lately I’m better off dead
I just wanna hold ya
I wake up in a cold sweat
[Hook: Joba]
You keep leaving when I need you most
I’m left alone in the same bed

Tell me what you’re waiting for
I just wanna love ya
Tell me what you’re waiting for
[Intro: Robert Ontenient]
Tell me what I’m here for
Never would lie to you
I just wanna love ya
I know the future has been passing you by

Change my name, state so they never could
Fucking riding shotgun, slap your buns
What you waiting for?
But you don’t love me like you say you do
I just wanna love ya
These other niggas, they just passing your time
But I got a plan for ya, I’m taking a stand for ya, I care for ya
I just wanna hold ya
But I got the dream, and if you believe, then I can take you somewhere that is pristine
Tell me what you’re waiting for
85, 90, gon’ bust out the gun
They don’t know how to ride the tidal waves that crash in your thighs

Don’t make me a fiend, I know what I want, I’m working to get everything that I need
I love when you come (I love when you come)
Know they sent me from the neck of the woods
It feels like I can see the past in your eyes
[Verse 1: Dom McLennon]
Just wanna hold ya
Tell me what you’re waiting for
What you waiting for?

I’m keeping it clean, my title is mean, they boxed in a Simba, we broke out the seams
What’s your motive with me baby
Just wanna hold ya
Y vamos a destruir nuestra casa
New times are coming just like a virgin
I just wanna love ya
Tell me what you’re waiting for
Tell me what you’re waiting for
I need a friend (I need a friend)
[Hook: Joba]
It’s true what they say about love had, and love lost
Wearing your love like medallions
I twist and turn, moving just like a serpent
Please don’t make me wait long
Tell me what you’re waiting for
And you need a home (you need a home)
Sometimes I want nothing with you

Never would lie to you
[Verse 2: Matt Champion]
Wants the menages
Tell me what you’re waiting for
I just wanna love ya
Sunrise: it has set

Rod Stewart – Rhythm Of My Heart

Where they’re downing only deer
No never will I roam,
Running down under cover
The flames are getting higher
Shifting like the handle
In another place.

With the words "I Love you"
For I know my place is home.
Oh, the rhythm of my heart
Where the ocean meets the sky,
With the words "I Love you"
Burning down the bridges of my memory.
For I know my place is home.

I’ll be sailing.
Love may still alive
With the words "I Love you"
A hundred steel towns away.
Running down the alley,
Somewhere someday
Where the ocean meets the sky,
Is beating like a drum
For I know my place is home.
No never will I roam,
With the words "I Love you"
Oh, baby.
Oh, rhythm of my heart
Rolling off my tongue.
No expression on my face.
With the words "I Love you" rolling off my tongue.
Rolling off my tongue.
Oh, the rhythm of my heart

I’ll be sailing.
Where the ocean meets the sky,
Oh, yeah.
I’m just yanking back the handle,
Rolling off my tongue.
No never will I roam,
Is beating like a drum
Is beating like a drum
Where the ocean meets the sky,
Photographs and kerosene
Is beating like a drum
I’ll be sailing.
Where the ocean meets the sky,
Across the street the river runs.
Light up my darkness,

Oh, the rhythm of my heart
Rolling off my tongue.
Of a slot machine.
No never will I roam,
Love may still exist
The rhythm of my heart
I’ll be sailing.
Is beating like a drum
Light it up.

Oh, I’ve got lightning in my veins,

I’ve got my eyes all over you, baby.
I can still feel the touch
For I know my place is home.
Let me still exist in another place,
For I know my place is home.
I’ll be sailing.
No never will I roam,

Down in the gutter life is slipping away.
Of a helicopter blade.
In effigy.
Light it up,
Of your thin blue jeans.
