Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
All this on me, so yummy, all this oh so yummy
You know you want this yummy, yummy all in your tummy

Elevate your level, le-le-le-level
Graduate your level, there’s no one on it

Graduate your level, there’s no one on it

You know you want this yummy, yummy all in your tummy
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
All this on me, so yummy, all this oh so yummy
You know you want this yummy, yummy all in your tummy
[Verse 1]
Them old mistakes are gone, I won’t do them no more
That’s old news, there’s new news, I done did that before
I turned them into something, my comeback on one hunnid’
Less talking, more action, you just gon’ CiCi coming
I just keep elevating, no losses, just upgrading
My lessons, made blessings, I turned that into money
Thank God I never settled, this view is so much better
I’m chilling, I’m winning, like on another level
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, you can talk all you want
See me, I see greater
Nothing I’m afraid of
And I can have it all
[Chorus]
Five, four, three, two, one
Leggo! (watch me)
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
All this on me, so yummy, all this oh so yummy
You know you want this yummy, yummy all in your tummy
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
Level up, level up, level up, level up, level up
All this on me, so yummy, all this oh so yummy
You know you want this yummy, yummy all in your tummy
[Verse 2]
Fake friends get dropped like weight
Team love, don’t want no hate
I’m grindin’, I’m shinin’
Up, up, up on my way
Thank God I never settled
This view is so much better
I’m chilling, I’m winning
Like on another level
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, you can talk all you want
See me, I see greater
Nothing I’m afraid of
And I can have it all
[Chorus]
Five, four, three, two, one
Leggo!

LANY – Thru These Tears Lyrics

[Verse 1]
This hurts like hell
But I keep telling myself
It’s gonna get better
But it’s taking forever
I tried to go out
But every time I leave the house
Something reminds me
Of what’s now behind me
[Pre-Chorus]
Everyday I let go
Just a little bit more
[Chorus]
In the end I’m gonna be alright
But it might take a hundred sleepless nights
To make the memories of you disappear
But right now I can’t see nothing through these tears
[Verse 2]
Control my thoughts
Convincing myself it’s your loss
I really mean it
And I’m starting to believe it
[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause everyday I let go
Just a little bit more
[Chorus]
In the end I’m gonna be alright
But it might take a hundred sleepless nights
To make the memories of you disappear
But right now I can’t see nothing through these tears
Out of sight but you’re not out of my mind
So it might take somebody else at night
To make it feel like you were never here
But right now I can’t see nothing through these tears
[Bridge]
You said it was over
But when we got closer
You cried on my shoulder
Goodbye
[Outro]
Driving home on an empty highway
I thought about you and I hit the brakes
What we had and who we were was so clear
But right now I can’t see nothing through these tears

88rising – History Lyrics

[Chorus]
We got history (history)
Got me feeling the nostalgia
When you look at me (look at me)
Thinking ’bout what could have happened
Or what could’ve been
Finally a face I know, ain’t that a sight to see
Take my time then take your clothes off
One more time, maybe
Actin’ like you don’t recall, it ain’t impressin’ me
Didn’t come to see your friends, I know you came for me
Like your dress, but you fit better in my wrinkled tee
We moved on to newer things, but we got history
[Verse 1]
Put my feelings all aside
Don’t know how to make it right
Pictures poppin’ on my mind
All of these occasions
Let’s work it out with me
I don’t think it hurts to give another try on it
Ain’t nobody here know you like I do
Ask all your friends if they know ’bout your size of shoes
How you like to cry when you laugh, when you off the booze
I moved on but I still remember a thing or two
I know you said “gimme a hug”, and I said “gimme a break”
I wasn’t trying my best, all the mistakes that I made
I’m learning that it ain’t the right move
Learn from my mistakes, ain’t that what the adults do? [Chorus]
We got history (history)
Got me feeling the nostalgia
When you look at me (look at me)
Thinking ’bout what could have happened
Or what could’ve been
Finally a face I know, ain’t that a sight to see
Take my time then take your clothes off
One more time, maybe
Actin’ like you don’t recall, it ain’t impressin’ me
Didn’t come to see your friends, I know you came for me
Like your dress, but you fit better in my wrinkled tee
We moved on to newer things, but we got history
[Verse 2]
Ayy, ayy, yuh
Bet you got nobody ’round to make your day better
Sun brighter, don’t got too much time, so girl, let’s fuck now
And talk later, put your pride aside and let me in
You know I got better since
You so good at self control, but maybe now it’s time for change
I’ve been alone for so long, got the one
Didn’t realize good ones exist in the world ’til I lost one
Eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind
Things I would give to feel your lips for the last time
Go and hang with your friends, I’ll put this bullshit to end
I rained on your parade and I just wish you the best
I think it’s time for me to bounce soon
I just wish I had someone to say “I’m home” to
[Chorus]
We got history (history)
Got me feeling the nostalgia
When you look at me (look at me)
Thinking ’bout what could have happened
Or what could’ve been
Finally a face I know, ain’t that a sight to see
Take my time then take your clothes off
One more time, maybe
Actin’ like you don’t recall, it ain’t impressin’ me
Didn’t come to see your friends, I know you came for me
Like your dress, but you fit better in my wrinkled tee

Gun on her thigh, big shooter game
She did this before, murdered to gain

I’m takin’ off like a rocket
Spaceship, so high I can’t stop it
[Pre-Chorus]

[Verse 2]
The look’s on her face, back in my place
Legs in the air, all dirty again
Smokin’ some more, I’m in her space
She touches me there, then I do it again

I’m takin’ off like a rocket
Spaceship, so high I can’t stop it

Can’t stop the feet (she burn, she burn, she burn)
Like a-sour diesel
Can’t stop the feelin’, oh (she burn, she burn, she burn)
No I can’t stop
[Bridge]
‘Cause it’s burnin’ all around you
I’m so glad I found you
‘Cause it’s burnin’ all around you
I’m so glad I found you
Woo, yeah, yeah
[Chorus]
Yeah!

DRAM – Best Hugs Lyrics

[Intro]
Ooh baby
Your girl gives the best hugs
[Chorus]
Your girl gives the best hugs
Your girl gives the best hugs
Your girl gives the best hugs
Your girl gives the best hugs
[Verse 1]
You might get pissed off
Might wanna run me my fade
Now, I ain’t startin’ no problems
Just callin’ a spade a spade
Now, lets not fuss in front of your old lady
‘Cause back in the day she drove me crazy
She had it all when I just got in the game
I’m talkin’ win, lose or draw
It was just one and the same
Reminiscin’ about those days take me
Back to the days when she drove me crazy
[Pre-Chorus]
I said ooh
I may be drunk, but what I thunk is
How she touch me means I’m lucky
She wants the D
She wants the D from me
And I said ooh
With all that junk up in her trunk
It still got room for me to stuff it
She wants the D
She wants the D from me
[Chorus]
Your girl gives the best hugs
(I love the way she hold me tight)
Your girl gives the best hugs
(I know that she can treat me right)
Your girl gives the best hugs
(I know she got the magic touch)
Your girl gives the best hugs
(If I was you, I wouldn’t mess that up)
[Verse 2]
I said woo (mmm, mmm, mmm)
How could you let your girl get off your arm
Knowin’ she’s so fine (she’s so fine)
She’s so fine (she’s so fine)
I said woo (woo-ee)
Brotherman, I don’t mean you no harm
But I want her as mine (I want her as mine)
I think she should be mine (I think she should be mine)
[Pre-Chorus]
I said ooh
I may be drunk, but what I thunk is
How she touch me means I’m lucky
She wants the D
She wants the D from me
And I said ooh
With all that junk up in her trunk
It still got room for me to stuff it
She wants the D
She wants the D from me

Your girl gives the best hugs
Your girl gives the best hugs
Your girl gives the best hugs

Honestly, what would you do? What’s it to you?

In total $7,750 has been raised by the tight-knit Rainbow Beach community and Mrs Elder said she feels hopeful that Tristan will be walking soon.”We do have hopes that he will be walking unassisted by Christmas,” she said.”The possibilities are endless. Photo:
Paramedic Marc Shearman with Tristan’s grandmother Maree Robinson (L) and mother Carolyn Elder attend a fundraising event to aid in Tristan’s recovery. Photo:
Mr Shearman shaved his Ned Kelly-style beard off to raise money for Tristan’s rehabilitation. “It’s fantastic just to see him come so far and it’s exciting the thought of how far he’ll be able to recover,” Mr Shearman said. A good future,” Mrs Robinson said.Returning to schoolDuring the last school term Tristan defied the odds by returning to school at Victory College in Gympie for two hour sessions once a week to give him the opportunity to socialise with his classmates.Next week Tristan, now 14, will return one day a week for school lessons as well, which will increase as he continues to recover.”We already know he can spell and write and read and do his basic maths.”Now it’s just about making sure his brain can actually process a little bit more than that,” Mrs Elder said.”The old Tristan is also coming back; he’s making jokes and teasing people.”Paramedic raises funds for rehab

Marc Shearman was the first emergency responder to Tristan after the crash and is still championing his recovery. We haven’t seen what Tristan is capable of’.”Improvements ‘beyond belief’

Tristan’s mum Carolyn Elder and stepdad Dave Elder are proud of how far Tristan has come since his accident. I mean physically, mentally exhausted, but still being the best mother she could be to the other children and being there and talking to Tristan and saying she had his back all the time.”The family is treating Tristan’s recovery as a miracle.”The mood is just one of elation. (ABC Sunshine Coast: Bruce Atkinson)
One year on from Tristan’s accident and the paramedic who played a key role in Tristan’s survival is still championing him.In a fundraising effort to raise money for Tristan’s hydrotherapy pool, Mr Shearman shaved off his much-loved beard.”I’m very fortunate I’ve been able to build a relationship with Tristan and Carolyn and [I am] very grateful for that. (ABC Sunshine Coast: Bruce Atkinson)
Tristan returned home after almost six months in hospital and he started improving “beyond belief”.Doctors told the family he achieved milestones in six weeks they thought would take eight months.”I don’t know if it was the sensory input of being home and us getting him out every day in his home town, but it was like a switch was turned on,” Mrs Elder said. The family had been told Tristan would never be able to put a cup to his mouth but he started sucking on a lollipop. He started opening his eyes on command and began walking with assistance, and in the last six months the improvements have further confounded doctors.A family rallies togetherTristan’s Grandmother, Maree Robinson, could not be prouder of her daughter for her resilience in caring for Tristan.”Right from the word go when everything was so devastating she just kept praying for Tristan to survive,” Mrs Robinson said. I wouldn’t have said this six months ago.”I didn’t know where we would get to, but now I really feel like Tristan will make a full recovery.” They were right. On July 15, 2017 Tristan was riding his bike through his home town in Rainbow Beach, Queensland when he hit the bull bar of a four-wheel drive travelling at 60 kilometres per hour. The town’s only ambulance officer on duty at the time, Marc Shearman, was the first emergency responder to arrive at the scene.”I got a call that a young child had been hit by a car and unfortunately he sustained quite severe head injuries and he was quite unwell,” Mr Shearman said.”Myself and the other paramedics and doctors on scene were all very concerned at what the potential outcome would have been on that day.”I don’t think many of us held much hope that he would survive the accident.”Tristan was flown to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (LCCH) in Brisbane in a rescue helicopter with his mother, Carolyn Elder, by his side while his stepfather, Dave Elder, made the 240km drive to Brisbane.Turning off life supportAfter two weeks in the Intensive Care Unit doctors advised Tristan’s parents to switch off his life support as they believed he had no chance of recovery.”It was quite surreal,” Mrs Elder said.”I was in the shower that night crying, sitting in the corner bawling my eyes out and I just heard the words, ‘Give him more time’.”So every step of the way that’s what I’ve done.”In an attempt to show the futility of keeping Tristan alive, doctors demonstrated what would happen if his life support was stopped.”The doctor pulled the tubes out and he maintained his airway so he could breathe unassisted and the doctor actually said to me, ‘Wow, I’m shocked’,” Mrs Elder said.”Two days later that doctor came back into Tristan’s room and said, ‘I’m here to eat my words. Two weeks after Tristan Sik was critically injured in a road accident, doctors advised his parents to turn off his life support permanently, but they ignored that advice believing he would get better. We all feel that he will have a good life.

The Gold Coast University Hospital is a pilot site for developing a program of early recognition and treatment of children with paediatric sepsis.Gold Coast Paediatric Emergency Department medical director Christa Bell said it shows education can be given in multiple different ways. She said the video and song empower the staff and has already helped save lives.”We wanted to provide something that gave real information about the clinical placements of intraosseous needle,” Dr Bell said.”But also address some of the fears and apprehension that come with dealing with a critically unwell child.””Go ahead and do it … you’ve only got one shot,” Dr Bell said. She said so far several health institutions have taken it up as a learning tool, including Queensland Ambulance. A Gold Coast doctor has taken up rapping to help teach her colleagues a difficult and unusual medical technique — and it is catching on.”I was talking about paediatric sepsis, which is a life-threatening condition that can kill … and you need to act fast,” Paediatric Emergency Registrar Sonia Twigg said.”We were talking about the importance of getting IV access and the difficulties of getting intraosseous and we thought, ‘we need a song!'”If intraosseous injection sounds complicated, that is because it is.Doctors use it to inject drugs and fluids rapidly into a patient’s bone marrow when other methods, such as intravenous injection, are unavailable or too dangerous. It is a relatively infrequent procedure, but it is vital to get right.Dr Twigg said she needed a way to remember it and remind her colleagues. But the words to Dr Twigg’s version are not quite the ones you would recognise.”We thought about using ‘Heads and Shoulders, Knees and Toes’, and we thought that would send the wrong message because that’s the wrong place,” she said. You only get one shot

“We built up our evidence and also collected detailed gliding data for squirrel gliders and yellow-bellied gliders, so we could get our trigonometry correct, which determines pole height and spacing for a given road,” Dr Goldingay said.”The records do not tell us anything about gene flow, but they tell us we have a conservation tool with huge potential.”Dr Goldingay said it appeared the glide poles were an even better solution than wildlife canopy bridges.”There was an early preference to just put up the road canopy bridges and they do work,” he said.”But this study almost suggests that for gliding species the poles work better than road bridges, because we have 20 times as many records on the poles as what we did on the road bridges at this site.”Gliders are crossing both ways

Photo:
This image shows the 100-gram sugar glider, which was detected on the pole crossing in Port Macquarie. Highways are not great places for gliding mammals to cross, but the not-so-new concept of installing power poles as launching pads is paying off.A few decades ago mammal ecologist, Ross Goldingay, had an idea of installing power poles where trees had once been to help gliding mammals cross highways.Dr Goldingay said, at the time across Australia’s east coast, new roads and highways were being planned that would cut through bushland and disrupt wildlife populations. He said state road agencies were putting in place strategies to reduce the impact on wildlife, but none catered for gliding mammals.”These animals rarely come down to the ground, they just glide between trees,” he said.”In some areas roads are basically creating canopy gaps that are too wide for these animals to get across.””It seemed like a logical conclusion to propose that you might be able to use power poles along a roadside to get gliders across the road.”New study proves the idea was more than a ‘thought bubble’

The study also made hundreds of detections of sugar gliders and the threatened squirrel glider. The study, funded by NSW Roads and Maritime Services, was based on a three-year monitoring program of two pairs of glide poles, as well as a canopy bridge, on the Oxley Highway at Port Macquarie, on the New South Wales mid-north coast.Dr Goldingay and his colleagues from the Southern Cross University’s School of Environment, Science and Engineering used cameras to observe wildlife movement at the site from 2013 to 2016.”We’ve done a number of studies now, and the important thing is we are getting some consistent results, so it’s not a one-off,” he said.Dr Goldingay said they detected four species of gliding mammal on the poles, including the first-ever records of the feathertail glider and the threatened yellow-bellied glider. (Supplied: Brendan Taylor)
NSW Roads and Maritime Services has now installed poles for gliders at more than 20 locations along the Pacific Highway upgrade, which connects Sydney to Brisbane.A Roads and Maritime spokesperson said the agency was committed to ensuring the best welfare outcomes for wildlife during highway upgrades.”It’s important that wildlife can move freely to other areas to access food, water and mates, so when highways are upgraded or built, opportunities are provided for wildlife to safely cross the highway,” the spokesperson said. Photo:
The study recorded the first ever sightings of the threatened yellow-bellied glider using the glide poles. “I first proposed the idea of using power poles, without the wires, to reconnect habitat for gliding mammals 25 years ago,” he said.”For some years the idea was dismissed as a thought bubble.”Now, a new study led by Dr Goldingay and published in Australian Mammology demonstrates that gliding mammals will use dedicated tall poles as stepping stones. “We high-fived when we saw our first photo of a yellow-bellied glider on a pole,” he said. “We were yahooing; it’s one of those things you don’t count your chickens until they hatch.”The use of a glider pole by a feathertail glider was considered unexpected, given the species’ small size and vulnerability in open areas, and a gliding capability not as strong as other larger species.”This extends the size range of species documented using glide poles.”

On the NSW north coast, monitoring has also shown glide poles, installed as part of the Sapphire to Woolgoolga Pacific Highway upgrade project, are being used by mammals. NSW Roads and Maritime Services said remote cameras and a catch-and-release method had recorded regular use of the poles by sugar gliders, feathertail gliders and squirrel gliders. All three species were recorded moving in both directions, which importantly showed there was not a behavioural limitation. An Ecological Monitoring Program, led by Dr Brendan Taylor, was also established to study the area.”We want animals to cross the road in the first instance, but also to feel safe enough to cross and to breed, so glider populations become connected and avoid an isolation of population,” Dr Taylor said.Wildlife crossing program expanded

A 14-year-old Australian girl is about to become be the envy of the surfing world.Zahli Kelly is heading to the United States, where she will become one of the few people to ride the uniquely-designed artificial waves at the World Surf League Surf Ranch owned by 11-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater.”I did an interview with Surfing Life like two months ago and they said ‘what wave do you want to surf before you die?’ and I said Kelly’s wave pool,” Ms Kelly said.”I just didn’t think it would actually happen.” Access to the facility has been severally restricted, and it was only unveiled to the broader sporting world earlier this year when Mr Slater hosted a speciality international teams event. Ms Kelly will be accompanied by her personal coach, former world junior champion James Woods.Mr Woods said access to the regular, mechanical wave was a unique learning opportunity for his gifted pupil.”For a surfer, it’s like winning lotto,” he said.”There are cameras all over the pool — you’ve got a jet ski that rides next to the wave that will be filming.”You go up the pool on your frontside, then come back down on your backhand — so you get two waves at a time and there’s about four minutes between each wave.”So she’ll catch a wave, have a four-minute break and you’ll assess that wave that she’s just caught, go over a few things and watch the playback and then get ready for your second wave.”

Surfing Australia’s Bede Durbidge, who will coach the Australian team at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, said the wave pool was a game changer for competitive surfers. He said the progression made by members of the Olympic squad at a recent training camp at the Surf Ranch was incredible.”In a controlled environment like that you know how many waves you’re going to catch, what sections you’re going to get, so you can set up what you’re going to work on,” Mr Durbidge said.”So you can really just dive in deep into skills and just work on things and get instant results within one session.”Things that would take you six months to do [in the ocean] you can do it in one hour.” Mr Woods is confident that Ms Kelly has the talent to make the most of the opportunity.”She’s pretty powerful for her age, she’s got a big bag of tricks,” he said. Admission to the man-made wave pool, at Leemore in central California, is seen as surfing’s equivalent to a golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.Ms Kelly, from Casuarina on the New South Wales far north coast, will attend a training camp with Australia’s shadow Olympic squad. She said that having the opportunity to ride at the ranch was a dream she never thought would become a reality.”I’m actually a little bit nervous because my group, we’re the first people out there [in the session],” Ms Kelly said.”So I can’t see anyone surf it [before me], I just have to go straight out there and go.”
